Serious crash closes village road for three hours

Emergency services were called to a crash in Clacton Road, St Osyth, on Saturday, Essex Police said

A village road was closed for more than three hours following a serious collision between a car and a motorcycle.

Essex Police said it was called to Clacton Road, St Osyth, Essex, at about 14:00 BST on Saturday.

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, not thought to be life-changing.

The force appealed for anyone with any information to get in touch and said the road fully reopened at about 17:25.
