Make a Christmas Fairy

Watch this video as Evie shows you how to make your own Christmas fairy.

You will need
  • Sticky tape
  • Glue
  • Scissors (grown-up use only)
  • Two cupcake cases
  • Coloured card
  • One pompom
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Ribbon
  • A plate
  • Pencil or pen

Step One:

Put a plate on some card and draw around the plate with a pencil or pen.

Step Two:

With a grown-ups help, cut the circle out with scissors.

Step Three:

Fold the circle in half and cut to make two semi-circles.

Step Four:

Roll up one of the semi circles to make a cone shape and use sticky tape to keep it in place.

Step Five:

Fold a cupcake case in half to make a semi circle and use glue to stick it to your cone. These are your fairy wings.

Step Six:

Stick a pipe cleaner to a pompom using glue. Then stick the pompom to the top of the cone.

Step Seven:

Make a loop with your ribbon. Then using stick tape, stick the ribbon to the back of your fairy.
