Man dies after falling from cliff in Cornwall

A man has died after he fell from a cliff in Cornwall, Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed.

Emergency services including ambulance and coastguard teams attended the scene in Falmouth, near Stratton Place at about 12:40 BST on Thursday.

The force said "despite the efforts of emergency services" the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesperson added his death was not being treated as suspicious.
