Man charged over cyclist crash death in Kirkintilloch

A 63-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in East Dunbartonshire last year.

A 50-year-old male cyclist died after being struck on the A806, Initiative Road, in Kirkintilloch on 9 June 2023.

The collision with a van happened near the Lindsaybeg roundabout.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal and he is expected to appear in court at a later date.
