Hull City boss Ruben Selles has been speaking to BBC Radio Humberside ahead of his side's trip to Turf Moor.

Here are the key lines:

  • New g Lincoln has not been in training due to knee pain and may not be available for the Burnley game - though the Fenerbahce loanee did return to the training pitch on Monday

  • Midfielder Matty Crooks is fully fit and available, but defenders Finley Burns, Charlie Hughes and midfielder Kasey Palmer are not expected back until next week

  • Right-back Cody Drameh suffered a knee issue at the end of the loss to Stoke and has not been training, however, he is expected to return on Tuesday and may make the matchday squad

  • On new g John Egan, a former Burnley defender: "I think he has been excellent in the week he has been with us. He's a player with a lot of experience and I think he can give us different things."

  • Selles believes it will "be difficult" for Dogukan Sinik to get minutes once he returns to full fitness amid rumours the forward may return to Turkey before the Turkish transfer window closes on Saturday

  • On transfer window: "I think we are as competitive as we can be. I think we are balanced. We have all the elements to stay in the league and be in good positions, now it's for us, and for me, to make it happen."

  • On Burnley: "It's about trying to turn that strength for them into opportunities for us. We have a very clear game plan of how we can do it."
