Experienced Exeter Chiefs winger Olly Woodburn has signed a new contract at Sandy Park.

The 33-year-old has made 184 appearances for the Chiefs but is currently sidelined, having sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

Woodburn was part of the squad that won the Champions Cup in 2020 and has scored 60 tries for the club to date.

He first signed for the Chiefs in 2015 and won the 2016-17 Premiership title in his second season at Exeter.

"I'm hugely excited to be staying, marking 10 years as an Exeter Chief," Woodburn said.

"I get to play for a club where I became a champion. I've spent the majority of my adult life here in Exeter, so this place has huge meaning to me. I love running out at Sandy Park, playing some exciting rugby in front of an incredibly loyal fanbase.

"I can't wait to get stuck in and hopefully be part of a change as we look to work towards becoming champions again."

Exeter have endured a poor season, winning just four of 17 Premiership games to sit second bottom of the table.
